Titus 3:3-7

3 ^aFor we too were once foolish, ^bdisobedient, ^cdeceived, ^denslaved to ^evarious lusts and pleasures, spending our life in ^fmalice and ^genvy, hateful, hating one another. 4 But when the ^hkindness of ⁱGod our Savior and His love for mankind ^jappeared, 5 ^kHe saved us, ^lnot on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but ^min accordance with His mercy, by the ⁿwashing of regeneration and ^orenewing by the Holy Spirit, 6 ^pwhom He ^qrichly poured out upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by His grace we would be made ^rheirs ^{▼▼Or of eternal life according to hope}according to the hope of eternal life.
